Youngkin will speak on Monday, according to a prior report from the Richmond Times-Dispatch. According to Axios, Tennessee’s conservative U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn will also speak at the RNC early on Monday.

Youngkin’s speech follows Saturday’s shooting in Pennsylvania that killed one man, Corey Comperatore, and injured two others in an attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump. Those several males are reportedly in stable condition at the facility.

Trump’s underlying speech was going to center on President Joe Biden’s strategies, but after the shooting, which is being investigated as a death effort, he decided to change it, according to the Washington Inspector.

On Monday, Trump announced that JD Vance, a conservative U.S. senator from Ohio, will be his formal running mate. There were rumors that Youngkin was on the VP waitlist, and when reporters learned that he was being mentioned, Youngkin informed them, “I love my work.”

“Congratulations to @JDVance1 on your selection as the next Vice President of the United States!” said Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin during his statement at the Republican National Convention. Shortly after Trump’s announcement, Youngkin wrote on X, “What we really want for a more grounded America is his enthusiasm for America’s success, administration as a U.S. Marine, and obligation to our practical moderate qualities.”

At the GOP event, Youngkin will be joined by prominent conservatives from Virginia, including as U.S. Senate candidate Hung Cao and Principal Legal Officer Jason Miyares, who will push the federation’s designation.

According to a spokesman for Miyares’ office, “The AG is in Wisconsin as a component of Virginia’s designation July 15-18,” Ingrid Andress Delivers Rocky Performance of National Anthem told 8News.
