The Nelons: Three members of family gospel group die in plane crash: According to a statement from a group member who was not on the plane, three members of the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame quartet The Nelons were among seven people killed in a plane crash in Wyoming.
The Nelons fellow benefactor, Kelly Nelon Clark, her significant other Jason Clark, and their girl, Golden Nelon Kistler kicked the bucket in the accident Friday evening, as per an assertion from little girl Pre-winter Nelon Streetman.
Nelon Streetman remarked, “Thank you for the prayers that have already been extended to me, my husband, Jamie, and our soon-to-be-born baby boy, as well as to Jason’s parents, Dan and Linda Clark.” As we navigate the upcoming days, we appreciate your continued prayers, love, and support.”
Additionally killed in the accident were Nelon Kistler’s better half, Nathan Kistler, family companion Melodi Hodges, and Larry and Melissa Haynie, as per Nelon Streetman.
There were no survivors.
According to a statement issued by Gaither Music Group, the cruise’s sponsor and host of numerous gospel groups and singers, the group was traveling to participate in the Gaither Homecoming Cruise to Alaska.
According to Gaither Music, Hodges worked as the band’s assistant. The aircraft was piloted by Larry Haynie, and Melissa Haynie was his wife. According to a statement issued by Leslie Perkins, a spokesperson for Campbell County, the aircraft was identified as a single-engine turboprop Pilatus PC-12/47E. The crash occurred around 1 p.m. local time in Campbell County, Wyoming, approximately 250 miles (402 kilometers) north of Cheyenne and north of Gillette.
The Public Transportation Wellbeing Board representative Keith Holloway said Saturday that a group of examiners is normal at the site later Saturday.
4 Family Members From ‘The Nelons’ Gospel Group Among 7 Dead In Wyoming Plane Crash: “The airplane is in a far off area and when they get entrance, they will start reporting the scene, looking at the airplane,” Holloway said. ” The airplane will then be recuperated and taken to a protected office for additional assessment.”
A primer report on the accident is normal in around 30 days while a last report with the reasonable justification of the accident could require as long as two years to finish, Holloway said.
The Nelons were drafted into the Gospel Music Affiliation Corridor of Notoriety in 2016 and were champs of 10 GMA Pigeon Grants, including different tune of the year and collection of the year grants.
