WWE legend Sid Vicious dies at 63 after tragic years-long battle with cancer

Sidney “Sid” Raymond Eudy, known in the wrestling world as Sid Justice, Sid Vicious, and Sycho Sid, has passed away at the age of 63 after battling cancer for several years. His family confirmed the news on Monday. Sid is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sabrina Paige, and their two sons, Gunnar and Frank.

Sid’s son Gunnar shared the sad news on Facebook, saying, “I’m heartbroken to announce that my father, Sid Eudy, has died after a long fight with cancer.” He described his father as a strong, kind, and loving man, adding that Sid will be greatly missed.

The family expressed their gratitude for the support and prayers during this tough time and mentioned that details about a memorial service would be shared soon. Sid was a two-time world champion in both WWE (formerly WWF) and WCW, and he also held the USWA heavyweight title twice.

WWE paid tribute to Sid, saying they were “saddened” by his passing and offered condolences to his family, friends, and fans in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter).

After the news broke, many in the wrestling community shared their condolences on social media. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. said Sid‘s influence on the wrestling business was undeniable and that he paved the way for many, including himself and his brother. Professional wrestler Marc Mero also expressed his sadness, recalling Sid as one of the first wrestlers he faced and calling him a great guy.
