BOSTON – Several school districts in Massachusetts have announced delayed openings or closures on Thursday, December 5, due to expected snowfall.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Thursday for central and western Massachusetts and southwestern New Hampshire. WBZ forecasts 3-6 inches of snow in some areas.

- Ashburnham-Westminster Regional Schools: Closed today
- Athol-Royalston Regional School District: No preschool
- Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High: Delayed opening (2-hour delay)
- Leicester Public Schools: Delayed opening (2-hour delay)
- North Middlesex Regional Schools: Delayed opening (2-hour delay)
- Quabbin Regional School District: Delayed opening (2-hour delay, no AM preschool)
- Southbridge Public Schools: Delayed opening
- Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative: Delayed opening (2-hour delay)
- Spencer-East Brookfield Regional Schools: Closed today
- Tantasqua Regional School Union 61: Delayed opening (2-hour delay)
- Wachusett Regional School District: Closed today
- Webster School Department: Delayed opening (2-hour delay, no AM preschool)
