Krispy Kreme and Dr Pepper collaborate on doughnuts for US football season
Krispy Kreme has teamed up with Dr Pepper for the first time ever to launch a new collection of doughnuts just in time for football season.
Starting Friday, August 23, and for a limited time, you can get the Krispy Kreme x Dr Pepper Kickoff Collection. This collection features:
- Dr Pepper Kickoff Doughnut (New): An Original Glazed doughnut with Dr Pepper flavored frosting, burgundy sprinkles, and a white chocolate Dr Pepper logo on top.
- Buttercreme Goals Doughnut (New): An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in green icing, with colorful sprinkles and a yellow buttercreme goal post.
- Kreme Filled Football Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut filled with white cream, covered in chocolate icing, and decorated like a football.
You can buy these doughnuts in-store, for pickup at participating locations, or for delivery through the Krispy Kreme app and website. Some retailers also offer a custom half-dozen box.
Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, said, “Two of America’s favorite flavors are coming together for an amazing gameday treat. This Dr Pepper collection is perfect for your football celebrations, no matter which team you’re cheering for.”
Additionally, Krispy Kreme is offering free delivery from August 23-25 on all orders placed through their app and website to celebrate the start of football season.
